Josh Parsons wasn’t even sure he was going to be racing for the 2026 Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars season, but when he rolled out on the opening Fast Friday night, the defending champion found himself right back up front.

The 2026 Fast Friday season at Seekonk Speedway is here. With a new division added, making it a six-division weekly slate, race fans aren’t going to want to miss the chance to witness the future stars of Seekonk Speedway’s NASCAR Saturday battle it out under the lights. Opening night is set for Friday, May 29, where the first checkered flags of the season will drop.

The Tour will compete in the Firecracker 150 presented by Bethesda Leadership Group, celebrating Independence Day a few days early. It will be the second appearance of the Whelen Modified Tour at Seekonk for 2026 - also joining the J&R Precast 150 on Saturday, May 16.

Seekonk Speedway returns to Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday racing action for the final time in 2025 this weekend. Track champions will be crowned in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup on both nights, all part of D. Anthony Venditti Championship weekend at the Action Track of the East.

In the second round of the Sunoco Drive For the Cup, Newcomb bested all playoff contenders to take his first victory of the season in the No. 22. The former division champion found himself in a heated battle with Jacob Burns, but came out on top after tossing the lead back and forth.

Seekonk Speedway has a packed weekend of excitement planned September 12-13, with drivers continuing their battle for the championship on both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday. On top of that, Saturday night is First Responders Night, with free admission for First Responders courtesy of IBEW Local 99, along with the annual Wall of Fame induction.

In a thriller of a show, Ryan Vanasse Jr. picked up his first career Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars win on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. In the Nick Lascuola Racing Summer Showdown, worth a whopping $2,000 to win, Vanasse had trouble early, stopping in turn two in the midst of an accident.
