On Fast Friday, six divisions return to the track as the season nears the halfway point. In the second round of the Sunoco Drive For the Cup, Newcomb bested all playoff contenders to take his first victory of the season in the No. 22. The former division champion found himself in a heated battle with Jacob Burns, but came out on top after tossing the lead back and forth.
