Media Credentials

SEEKONK SPEEDWAY ACCEPTS CREDENTIAL REQUESTS FROM:

  • Accredited Print Reporters & Photographers

  • Accredited Internet Reporters

  • Accredited Radio Reporters

  • Accredited Television Reporters and Camera Operators

  • Sanctioning Body Public Relations Representatives

  • Accepted Credential Requests are Non-Transferable

 MEDIA & PUBLIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVES GUIDELINES

Media & Public Relations Representatives must be:

  • Bona-fide employees of the assigning media outlet or sanctioning body

  • Currently covered under the Workman’s Compensation policy of the assigning media outlet or sanctioning body

  • 18 years of age or older

 Credential requests must be:

  • Completed using online form below

  • Submitted by a publisher, station manager, editor, or other executive

  • Received prior to the credential request deadline.

  • Touring and Special Event Date credential requests need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the race date.

  • NASCAR Saturday Night credential request need to be submitted at least 1 week prior to the race date.

  • Inclued published pre promotion 

Media Members and Public Relations Representatives with the appropriate Sanctioning Body Annual Credential may submit their own requests.

Media outlets and sanctioning bodies may request multiple events and representatives.

Requests will be evaluated on an individual basis.

CREDENTIAL PICK-UP REQUIREMENTS

  • Media Credentials will be emailed to you. Seekonk Speedway no longer uses sign in sheets for media.

  • A valid PHOTO ID must be presented for verification

  • No one under the age of 18 years old will be credentialed by Seekonk Speedway

  • A waiver must be signed before credentials can be issued.

  • Professional attire is required

  • No tank or crop tops

  • No open-toed shoes or sandals

• • Seekonk Speedway may determine, in the best interest of the sport, that certain attire is unsuitable.

Video Recording & Broadcast Policy

To protect the integrity of our racing events and the rights of our broadcast partners, Seekonk Speedway prohibits unauthorized video recording or live streaming of racing events.

1. Prohibited Activity

Spectators, guests, and attendees may not record, stream, broadcast, or otherwise capture video footage of racing events occurring on the racing surface at Seekonk Speedway for public distribution.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Video recording of races or race activity

  • Live streaming via social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Recording for commercial use or publication

  • Broadcasting race footage through any online or digital platform

  • Recording with cameras, camcorders, drones, or other professional video equipment

2. Personal Photography

Guests are welcome to take still photographs for personal, non-commercial use only.

Photography may not:

  • Be used for resale

  • Be used for commercial promotion

  • Be used to create race highlight videos

  • Interfere with spectators, participants, or track operations

3. Official Broadcast Rights

All racing events at Seekonk Speedway are officially broadcast and streamed by authorized partners.
Unauthorized video capture undermines these agreements and the ability of the speedway to provide professional race coverage to fans.

4. Media & Credentialed Videographers

Only approved media members and credentialed videographers with written authorization from Seekonk Speedway management may record video.

5. Enforcement

Seekonk Speedway reserves the right to:

  • Request that recording stop immediately

  • Ask guests to delete unauthorized footage

  • Revoke admission without refund

  • Remove individuals from the facility

  • Restrict future entry to the speedway

6. Entry Agreement

By entering Seekonk Speedway, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by this Video Recording Policy.
