🏁RACE DAY NEWS 🏁
SEEKONK SPEEDWAY VIDEO RECORDING POLICY
As Seekonk Speedway continues to elevate the fan experience at our track and digitally, we are reminding fans, teams and competitors of our video recording policy for those attending our events.
We are proud to have fans from all over the region - the country - and even the world - who are able to follow our action through official race broadcasts and streaming coverage. The broadcasts allow us to showcase the incredible drivers, teams and racing that make the Action Track of the East so special.
To protect the quality and integrity of these broadcasts, unauthorized video recording or live streaming of race action is not permitted at Seekonk Speedway.
What does this mean for fans? We have outlined what can, and can not, be done, below.
What Can You Do (And what we would LOVE to see):
-Take photographs for personal, non-commercial use
-Post clips on social media about your favorite drivers/teams
-Share content from our events
-Take video of friends and family racing or attending events
-Take selfies of you looking fabulous at the track
-Record sick in car footage (drivers) and share it with your fans on social media
Our goals at Seekonk Speedway are:
-To ensure teams and drivers receive proper exposure through official broadcasts
-Our streaming partners can deliver high-quality coverage to fans
-Seekonk Speedway can continue expanding its digital reach and investing in better race coverage
What You Can Not Do:
-Record and post full races or races in part for commercial reasons (ex: monetized YouTube channels)
-
Record and post full complete races
-Live stream any event, on any channel, or social media platform
-Take photos and use them for resale or commercial promotion, race highlights, or the like
All NASCAR Saturday events at Seekonk Speedway are officially broadcast and streamed by authorized partners. Unauthorized video capture undermines these agreements and the ability of Seekonk Speedway to provide professional race coverage for fans.
Media and credentialed photographs who are approved and credentialed with written authorization from the track may record video. Any media inquiries should be directed to our media relations team at ed@seekonkspeedway.com.
Seekonk Speedway Reserves The Right To:
-Request recording stop immediately, and ask guests to delete unauthorized footage
-Revoke event admission without refund or remove individuals who do not follow the policy
-Restrict future entry to race events
By entering Seekonk Speedway, all guests acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy.
We do appreciate your understanding with this We hope to see everyone at the track!
