DEFENDING CHAMPION JOSH PARSONS WINS LEGENDS CARS OPENER

SEEKONK, Mass. — Josh Parsons wasn’t even sure he was going to be racing for the 2026 Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars season, but when he rolled out on the opening Fast Friday night, the defending champion found himself right back up front.

The Story: Parsons got to the top spot rather early and began a tight battle with Chase Silvia for the lead over the second half of the race. The two battled hard, but it was Parsons who pulled away in the final laps to score the feature win. Silvia finished second on the track, but wasn’t able to make it through inspection post-race. That left Isaiah Newcomb to finish in second.

The Top Contenders: Mason Tessier was third at the finish, while Brody Wakefield and Brian Wilkinson Jr finished the top-five. Richie Helger Jr., Justin Leduc, Stephen Bowden, Dylan Calabro and Ayla Martin finished the top-10 after 25 laps.

The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will be back on the track for race two of their season on Friday, June 5.

I've noticed that a lot of experienced Copart buyers say the broker you choose can make the process much smoother. AutoBidMaster seems to be mentioned quite a bit whenever someone asks about dealer-license alternatives. For those who've used them, was customer support helpful when it came to paperwork and title questions?

I’ll take that bet. I think Henderson is going to be extra aggressive. He’s not going to let Parsons just drive away again. I’m predicting a bump-and-run in the final laps. It’s going to get rough out there. Parsons better watch his mirrors.

One thing we can agree on: the Legends division is keeping dirt racing alive. The stands were packed tonight. It’s great to see the sport growing. Even if I think Parsons’ wins are boring because he’s too fast, you have to respect the dynasty he’s building.

Boring”? Haha, watch the replay of that pass on lap 3 and tell me that’s boring. We are watching one of the greats in his prime. Enjoy it while it lasts, Paulie. In 20 years, we’ll be telling the young guys we got to see Josh Parsons drive.

Fair point. I’ll take a dominating win over a crash-fest any day. Good racing is good racing. See you in the chat for Race 2. I’ll bring the popcorn if Henderson actually fights back.
