Triple Crown Drama and Streak-Breaking Victories Highlight Fast Friday at Seekonk Speedway

SEEKONK, Mass. — Fast Friday delivered another action-packed night at Seekonk Speedway on August 14, with two Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown champions crowned, a dominant winning streak coming to an end and several familiar faces returning to Victory Lane.

Jacob “Rowdy” Burns and Ethan Souza captured Triple Crown titles, while Peter Bleau, Arthur Meack, John Dulac, Landon Heim and Landon Solomito were among the drivers celebrating victories at the Action Track of the East.

Bleau Wins Pure Stock Finale; Souza Secures Triple Crown Title

Peter Bleau returned to Victory Lane with an impressive performance in the 30-lap Pure Stock Everett’s Triple Crown finale.

Starting from the outside pole, Bleau quickly worked his way around Tim Ouellette to take the lead. Once out front, Bleau pulled away from the competition and drove to his first victory of the season in dominant fashion.

While Bleau controlled the race at the front, the battle for the Triple Crown title was playing out deeper in the field. Ethan Souza, Bryson Robidoux, Brent Robidoux and Bobby Bettencourt III entered the finale with a chance to claim the championship.

The title fight came down to the final corner, where Souza emerged with the advantage and secured the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series championship for the No. 30 team.

Ouellette finished second behind Bleau, with Crystal Murray earning a strong third-place finish. Souza, Brent Robidoux and Bryson Robidoux followed.

Meack Earns Fourth Sport 4 Victory

Arthur Meack returned to Sport 4 Victory Lane for the fourth time this season after leading the 20-lap feature from the early stages.

Meack won the first two races of the year and added another victory on June 26. On Friday night, he once again had the dominant car, taking control early and holding off Antonio Mancini over the closing laps.

Mancini finished second, while Samantha Sleboda charged to a third-place finish. The strong result moved Sleboda into the Sunoco Drive For The Cup Final Four with only one race remaining before the championship field is officially set.

Jacob Budzyna and Daniel Hayes completed the top five.

Burns Dominates Legends Race and Captures Triple Crown Championship

Jacob “Rowdy” Burns continued his commanding season in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars by winning both the 30-lap feature and the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series title.

Burns started 10th but wasted little time making his move. He immediately went three-wide around the outside, storming past the competition and taking the lead by lap five.

Following a brief caution, Burns powered through the gears on the restart and drove away from the field, adding another dominant victory to his impressive season.

Tour-Type Modified standout Timmy Solomito made his first Seekonk Legends Cars appearance of the year and charged from ninth to finish second. Mason Tessier crossed the line third, followed by Dylan Calabro and Brian Wilkinson Jr.

Dulac Holds Off Cavallaro for Second Crown Vic Victory

For the third consecutive One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers event, veterans John Dulac and Mike Cavallaro found themselves battling for the victory.

Dulac took the lead early in the 20-lap feature after using the outside lane to pass Nic Lecuyer. He opened a comfortable advantage while Cavallaro worked through the field and moved into second.

Cavallaro eventually closed the gap and challenged Dulac throughout the final laps, but Dulac held his ground to capture his second victory in the last three events.

Cavallaro settled for second but extended his championship points lead. John Lallier finished third, with Lecuyer and Matt Sanders completing the top five.

Heim Ends Dib’s Eight-Race Outlaw Winning Streak

For the first time in nine races, the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw division celebrated a new winner.

Landon Heim captured his first victory of the season, ending Luka Dib’s remarkable eight-race winning streak.

Dib entered the night looking for a record ninth consecutive victory, but an early mechanical issue forced him out of the race and opened the door for the rest of the field.

Heim took advantage, but the victory did not come easily. Allyha DeSomma stayed glued to his back bumper throughout much of the second half of the 15-lap feature. Heim remained composed under pressure and held on to become the driver who finally broke Dib’s stranglehold on the division.

DeSomma finished second, followed by Ryder Aguiar, Zac Kelley and Nathan Zimmerman.

Solomito Continues Impressive Bandolero Bandit Season

Landon Solomito added another chapter to his impressive season by capturing his seventh Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit victory of the year.

Starting sixth, Solomito quickly moved into fifth before using a restart to charge through the field. He advanced to third, then second, before passing Elias Dib for the lead.

Once in front, the defending Bandolero Bandit champion never looked back. Solomito drove away from the competition to earn his third consecutive victory.

It was a Solomito family one-two finish, with Brody Solomito crossing the line in second. Dib finished third, followed by Jace Chaber and Tobey Lecuyer.
