First-Time Winners and Fantastic Finishes Highlight Fast Friday at Seekonk Speedway

SEEKONK, Mass. — Fast Friday delivered another action-packed night at Seekonk Speedway, featuring first-time winners, incredible streaks and a photo finish that came down to just .073 seconds.

Jacob “Rowdy” Burns captured his fifth Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars victory of the season in thrilling fashion, while Zachary Keith and Antonio Mancini celebrated the first wins of their careers. John Dulac snapped Mike Cavallaro’s Crown Vic winning streak, Luka Dib extended his remarkable run to seven consecutive victories and Landon Solomito continued his Bandolero Bandit dominance.

Burns Wins Legends Cars Thriller

Jacob Burns had to work for his fifth Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars victory of the season.

Chase Silvia controlled most of the race and appeared to be on his way to Victory Lane until a late caution brought the field back together. The restart gave Burns an opportunity in the outside lane, and the driver of the No. 13 took full advantage.

Burns raced alongside Silvia right down to the checkered flag, earning the victory by just .073 seconds. Silvia finished a strong second after showing impressive speed throughout the event.

Isaiah Newcomb charged from the back of the field to finish third, followed by Richie Helger Jr. and Mason Tessier.

Keith Earns First Career Pure Stock Victory

Zachary Keith’s steady progression through the Seekonk Speedway racing program paid off with his first career Pure Stock victory.

A graduate of Seekonk’s youth racing program, Keith completed his first full season in the Pure Stocks last year. He continued improving each week and entered the 2026 season ready to contend.

Keith passed Tim Ouellette for the lead in the 25-lap feature and then faced relentless pressure from Bryson Robidoux over the final 10 laps. Robidoux searched high and low for an opening, but Keith held his line and captured the emotional first victory of his career.

Robidoux finished second, followed by Richie Johnson, Peter Bleau and Ethan Souza.

Dulac Breaks Cavallaro’s Crown Vic Streak

The battle that appeared to be for second place became the fight for the One Way Recycling Crown Vic Cruisers victory.

Jake Caprio initially crossed the finish line first in the 20-lap feature but did not pass post-race inspection. That handed the victory to John Dulac, who had spent the closing laps holding off six-time consecutive winner Mike Cavallaro.

Running a part-time schedule this season, Dulac rose to the challenge and officially earned his first victory of the year. Cavallaro’s impressive winning streak ended with a second-place finish.

Nic Lecuyer placed third, followed by John Lallier and Glenn Jenison.

Seven Straight Victories for Luka Dib

Winning seven consecutive races is nearly unheard of, but Luka Dib accomplished exactly that in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws.

Starting sixth in the 15-lap feature, Dib patiently worked through the field during a race filled with cautions and changing momentum. Once he reached the front, the challenges continued—but Dib refused to be denied.

The victory was Dib’s seventh straight at Seekonk Speedway and further established him as one of the favorites entering the Sunoco Drive For The Cup championship chase.

Allyha DeSomma charged through the field to finish second. Brady Connors crossed the line third, followed by Zac Kelley and Ryder Aguiar.

Mancini Dominates for First Sport 4 Win

Rookie Antonio Mancini delivered a dominant performance to earn his first career Sport 4 victory.

Mancini started on the front row, jumped into the lead and paced every lap of the 25-lap feature. He built an advantage of more than four seconds, which proved important when mechanical issues began affecting his car during the closing laps.

Despite those late-race concerns, Mancini had enough of a cushion to reach the checkered flag and celebrate his first trip to Sport 4 Victory Lane.

Previous winner Jacob Budzyna finished second, while multiple-time winner Arthur Meack took third. Daniel Hayes and Samantha Sleboda completed the top five.

Solomito Continues Bandolero Bandit Dominance

Defending Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit champion Landon Solomito continued his impressive season with another commanding victory.

Solomito started fifth in the 15-lap main event but quickly worked his way to the front. Although several competitors challenged him on restarts, Solomito continued to pull away and secured his fifth victory of the season.

Coming off a win the previous week, Jace Chaber advanced from sixth to finish second. Brooke Meyer placed third, followed by Joseph Bryant and Brody Solomito.

All six Fast Friday divisions return to Seekonk Speedway on Friday, August 7, for the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series finales. With championships approaching and Triple Crown honors on the line, another exciting night of racing awaits at the Action Track of the East.
