The first of two NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour stops at Seekonk Speedway for 2026 proved to be a quick, competitive race for the top Modified stars in the J&R Precast 150.

The stars and cars of NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour will return to Seekonk Speedway for the first of two visits in 2026 on Saturday, May 16. The annual J&R Precast 150 moves up a few weeks, marked as the fourth race of the season for the Whelen Modified Tour. The event at Oxford Plains Speedway, originally set to be race four, was postponed to June 6.

SEEKONK, Mass. — After a long winter, one filled with some of the largest snow totals in the last decade, Seekonk Speedway is dried out and ready to open the 81st season of short-track racing at the Action Track of the East this weekend. New for 2026, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will visit Seekonk Speedway twice in the same year, for the first time in the history of the Action Track of the East.

Raising Cane’swill be the major backer behind Fan Appreciation Night, which includes the annual Pit Party, on Saturday, August 22. This event will also serve as the final round of the regular season ahead of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup for the NASCAR Saturday Pro Stocks, Late Models, Sportsman and Sport Trucks. It will help set the Final Four drivers heading to the final four weeks to battle for the championship.

Seekonk Speedway officials announced today the track event schedule for the 81st season of short-track racing in 2026.

Buckle up, because the East Coast Towing Spectator Drags are roaring back into Seekonk Speedway for 2026 — and this schedule is flat-out AWESOME. Ten events. Five Thrill Shows. One epic season of head-to-head, street-legal racing you won’t want to miss.

The Tour will compete in the Firecracker 150 presented by Bethesda Leadership Group, celebrating Independence Day a few days early. It will be the second appearance of the Whelen Modified Tour at Seekonk for 2026 - also joining the J&R Precast 150 on Saturday, May 16.

For the third consecutive year, J&R Precast, located in Berkley, Massachusetts, has signed as the title sponsor of a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Seekonk Speedway in 2026. The J&R Precast 150 featuring the stars and cars of NASCAR’s Modifieds will return to the Action Track of the East on Saturday, May 16 for this special event.

MONACO MODIFIEDS RETURNING TO SEEKONK FOR TWO 2025 DATES

The stars and cars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will visit Seekonk Speedway twice for the 2026 season. Announced today, the Whelen Modified Tour will compete at the third-mile on Saturday, May 30 for the J&R Precast 150 and Wednesday, July 1 for the Firecracker 150 during Mid Week Madness.

An incredible season comes to an end this Saturday afternoon for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour. After seven months of traveling across New England and Quebec, the international touring series will wrap up the 2025 season with the Milton CAT Haunted Hundred in Massachusetts at the Seekonk Speedway with four drivers mathematically able to nab the championship this Saturday!

Monaco Ford, in partnership with the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, the OG 25 Street Stock Race, USNEPower, and the Monaco Modified Series, has announced an exciting bonus rewarding Street Stock racers who compete at both Waterford on October 18th and in the Street Stock race as part of the USNEPower Haunted Hundred XL race day.

The closing event on the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will decide the 2025 champion at Seekonk Speedway with the running of the USNEPower Haunted Hundred XL on Saturday, October 25th.
