Tour To Compete in Firecracker 150 presented by the Bethesda Leadership Group; Granite State Pro Stock Series, Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars Summer Showdown Join Packed Card
SEEKONK, Mass. – Seekonk Speedway announced today the full divisional lineup for the July 1, 2026 event that includes the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
The Tour will compete in the Firecracker 150 presented by Bethesda Leadership Group, celebrating Independence Day a few days early. It will be the second appearance of the Whelen Modified Tour at Seekonk for 2026 - also joining the J&R Precast 150 on Saturday, May 16.

Joining the July 1 card will be the Granite State Pro Stock Series for a 100-lap main event and Seekonk’s own Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars for a 30-lap, $2,000 to win special - the Nick Lascuola Racing Summer Showdown. The Legends Cars race will pay regular points for Fast Friday competitors.
Guided by a vision to normalize boldness, freedom, and intentionality, Bethesda Leadership Group (BLG) partners with leaders and organizations who are ready to grow with purpose. Through compassionate coaching, inspiring thought leadership, and collaborative partnerships, they help clarify, strengthen, and align vision to create meaningful impact. With humility and relentless compassion, BLG walks alongside leaders as they face challenges and embrace growth—cultivating freedom in their lives and calling individuals to live and lead into their full potential.
“I ‘promoted’ my first races as a young boy in Seekonk Speedway’s grandstands with my Matchbox race cars, fire trucks, wreckers, and ambulances. I went on to start my career in motorsports on the flagstand that remains at the track’s start-finish line today. I never imagined decades later that one of my companies would be sponsoring an event there, let alone an iconic one with the meanest-looking race cars on the planet,” Josh Vanada, owner of Bethesda Leadership Group, said. “It’s living proof to the work that we do with our clients every day in which ideas that may seem silly—even impossible—become achievements that, at one point, we wouldn’t even have dared to imagine, let alone ask for. At BLG, we help business leaders develop focus, move forward, and achieve freedom in their lives and organizations. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate those things than with my family, our clients, and our friends—plus thousands of the most passionate and loyal fans in all of sports—at the Firecracker 150, presented by the Bethesda Leadership Group. We can’t wait to see everyone on July 1!”

“Having these three divisions together on July 1 will provide our race fans three different, unique events all in the same night,” Ed St. Germain, Director of Business Development at Seekonk Speedway, said. “There is nothing quite like the rumble and roar of the Modifieds of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. We’re excited to welcome back the Granite State Pro Stock Series for one of their summer championship events, a race that will include some of our Pro Stock weekly competitors. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars Summer Showdown was one of the top events of the 2025 Fast Friday season and we anticipate it will keep fans on the edge of their seats once again.”
Seekonk Speedway will release the full schedule of events for the 2026 season in the near future. For more information and the latest Seekonk news, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.

I’m really excited that the Whelen Modified Tour is coming back on July 1 — I remember catching the Firecracker 150 a few years ago and the energy in the stands was unreal。 crimson desert hub
Three different divisions in one night means nonstop action and high-octane excitement for the fans. The Firecracker 150 with the Whelen Modified Slope 2 Tour is sure to deliver some heart-pounding moments, and the addition of the Granite State Pro Stock Series and Legends Cars makes it a full evening of racing spectacle.
Seekonk’s Mid-Week Madness lineup looks awesome! I’ve been to a few Whelen Modified Tour nights there, and the energy is unreal — fans close to the action, engines screaming, and friends joking about who’s actually going to take that last turn. What I love most is how local racers bring their A-game, turning an ordinary Wednesday into a real community event. It reminds me of planning last minute road trips and muttering stuff like, “Maybe I should save that Pep Boys phone number just in case…” — because you never know when a tire swap or quick fix might save the day! Can’t wait for July 1st!
