HELGER TAKES CHECKERED FLAG IN SECOND CAREER SPORT TRUCK START
Richie Helger Jr. wasted little time getting to Victory Lane on NASCAR Saturday. Helger took the top spot early in Saturday’s NASCAR Local Racing Series Sport Truck main event, in front of a packed house on hand for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour J&R Precast 150, and in just his second career start, the driver of the No. 99 rocketed to victory lane.

The stars and cars of NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour will return to Seekonk Speedway for the first of two visits in 2026 on Saturday, May 16. The annual J&R Precast 150 moves up a few weeks, marked as the fourth race of the season for the Whelen Modified Tour. The event at Oxford Plains Speedway, originally set to be race four, was postponed to June 6.
