The first of two visits for the stars of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) at Seekonk Speedway will take place this Saturday, June 6. The ACT Tour will join the first round of the Everett’s Triple Crown Series for the NASCAR Local Racing Series Pro Stocks and Sport Trucks, along with the return of the Sportsman division, for a four-division card sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats this Saturday evening.

Richie Helger Jr. wasted little time getting to Victory Lane on NASCAR Saturday. Helger took the top spot early in Saturday’s NASCAR Local Racing Series Sport Truck main event, in front of a packed house on hand for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour J&R Precast 150, and in just his second career start, the driver of the No. 99 rocketed to victory lane.

The stars and cars of NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour will return to Seekonk Speedway for the first of two visits in 2026 on Saturday, May 16. The annual J&R Precast 150 moves up a few weeks, marked as the fourth race of the season for the Whelen Modified Tour. The 2026 NASCAR Saturday season at Seekonk Speedway is upon us, with four returning divisions set to compete in the NASCAR Local Racing Series.

“Our dedicated competitors deserve this,” David Alburn, Competition Director at Seekonk Speedway, said. “We understand it takes hard work ,dedication and many resources to supply funds to race weekly, racing hard on the track from May into the end of September, and in the chase for the championship.

The road to becoming a Seekonk Speedway champion for Jake Vanada started many years ago. After over a decade of trying, racing in multiple different divisions, Vanada was finally on top at Seekonk Speedway in 2025.

It had been a long time since Lenny Guy had been to Victory Lane at Seekonk Speedway. Saturday night, in the season-finale for the Sport Trucks, it was Guy who came out on top. Driving the No. 77, Guy took the top spot and never looked back en route to Victory Lane.

Tom Scully III was back in Victory Lane on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway, putting an exclamation point on the opener of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup in the Sport Trucks.

Seekonk Speedway has a packed weekend of excitement planned September 12-13, with drivers continuing their battle for the championship on both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday. On top of that, Saturday night is First Responders Night, with free admission for First Responders courtesy of IBEW Local 99, along with the annual Wall of Fame induction.
