LENNY GUY GETS BACK TO VICTORY LANE, JAKE VANADA CLAIMS FIRST SPORT TRUCK TITLE

ree

SEEKONK, Mass. — It had been a long time since Lenny Guy had been to Victory Lane at Seekonk Speedway. Saturday night, in the season-finale for the Sport Trucks, it was Guy who came out on top. Driving the No. 77, Guy took the top spot and never looked back en route to Victory Lane.

While he won the race, it was a fourth-place finish that was the deciding factor in the championship battle. Jake Vanada outlasted three others in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup to capture his first career title. The driver of the No. 29 put together a consistent season, one good enough to earn him the crown.

In the feature, Lenny Guy won over Tom Scully III and Amy Helger. Vanada and DJ Thibeault followed in fourth and fifth, with Rick Martin, in his final race before retirement, crossing in sixth as the second playoff contender to finish. Danny Thibeault, Mike Duarte, Tim Bolger and Ethan Heilborn finished the top-10.

Seekonk Speedway’s 2026 event schedule will be released in the winter. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
