HAUNTED HUNDRED RETURNS TO SEEKONK SPEEDWAY SATURDAY WITH MONACO MODIFIEDS, ACT LATE MODELS, OPEN STREET STOCKS
The stars and cars of the Monaco Modifieds, American-Canadian Tour and Open Street Stocks will invade Seekonk Speedway this Saturday for the final showdown of the 2026 season at the Action Track of the East - the USNEPower Haunted Hundred.
Championships are on the line for both the Monaco and ACT divisions at the USNEPower Haunted Hundred, while the Open Street Stocks will battle for a $1,000 winning prize in their 40-lap race.
All the action begins Saturday at 1:15 p.m. with qualifying events, followed by feature race events. Tickets are available online at SeekonkSpeedway.com.
The championship chase for the Monaco Modified finale enters with Jon McKennedy holding a 17-point lead over Ron Silk. With a solid finish, McKennedy would earn his second straight series title and third overall. But in the race for the victory in the 125-lap season-finale, there is a stout list of contenders set to compete. Matt Hirschman has entered, a dominator of Modified racing at Seekonk for many years. Two-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour winner this year, Teddy Hodgdon, will be joined by six-time NASCAR champion Doug Coby, former NASCAR Mod champion Austin Beers, Ronnie Williams, Woody Pitkat, Kyle Bonsignore and Luke Baldwin. The entry list, over 30 cars, also includes some names Seekonk fans will recognize, like Mike Mitchell and former Legends Cars champion Jake Johnson. The Modified portion of the show is a can’t miss event for race fans, and will be the final event of the 2026 season at the Action Track of the East.

The ACT Tour is coming off their Octoberfest event at Lee USA Speedway, won by Kaiden Fisher. They will also crown their 2026 champion at the USNEPower Haunted Hundred, and Fisher currently shows the way. The No. 18 has three wins in their 13 events, and is chased by Gabe Brown and Jesse Switser. Be sure to look for names like Jonathan Bouvrette, Erick Sanders and others in the 100-lap contest, while keeping your eyes on Seekonk Late Model champion Chase Belcher, Richie Murray and others who will try to defend the home turf. The ACT events always pin local Seekonk standouts against touring series invaders.
The Open Street Stocks will see some incoming invaders against some of Seekonk’s best for 40 laps of green flag racing. With a $1,000 prize on the line to the winner, and $700 for second, anything can happen. The 2026 Seekonk Sportsman champion, Randy Moretti, captured the win in this race last year. He is expected to be challenged by fellow Seekonk contenders Doug Benoit, Matt Talbot, Nick Wood, Mike Henriques, Daniel Leach, Jaime Robbins and others. Pro Stock standout Mike Brightman has also registered to sit behind the wheel of his brothers No. 05 Sportsman for this event. There are expected to be a strong amount of additional entries and outsiders joining the show for the main event, sponsored by USNEPower.
