While six drivers in each Seekonk Speedway division are set to race for a championship in September, and all others will continue the battle for race wins, there are a few drivers in each division looking to etch their name in a different trophy.
The prestigious Rookie of the Year award is given to the new driver in each division for each season who bested all of the other first-time drivers in the final point standings. Heading for the stretch run, some of the battles are close as the Rookie contenders compete on the track. Vinnie Arrenegado, a two-time and defending Late Model champion, moved to the Pro Stocks in 2024. Although he hasn’t won yet, he’s the top seed entering the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs as the points leader and will win the Rookie of the Year this season. In the Late Models, two drivers with different backgrounds will battle it out for the final four weeks. Andrew Gomes has 398 points in eighth-place in the standings, with Brittany Campbell in ninth, with 349 points. The gap may be 49 points, but it isn’t over yet. Gomes, who moved up to the Late Models this year after success in Seekonk’s youth racing division, the Bandolero’s, has been impressive, with multiple podium finishes. Campbell, who moved up from the Sport Trucks into the Late Models this year, has been improving each week, already with a top-five finish and laps led to her credit. Both are also looking for their first career Late Model win. The Helger’s Sportsman Rookie battle is also not as tight, and somewhat decided, barring trouble. Nick Brightman leads over Sam Lincoln by 49 points. Both of these drivers moved up from the Fast Friday Pure Stock division over the winter months. In the Chaz’s Sport Trucks, Jack Brewer has a lead of 58 points in the battle over Steven Buckley heading for the final four weeks of the NASCAR Saturday season. On Fast Friday, in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Dylan Calabro leads Ryan Vanasse Jr. by just 26 points. These two drivers have moved up from the Bandolero divisions into the Legends Cars and have both been inside the top-five during the season. The Helger’s Pure Stock battle is nearly concluded, with Brent Robidoux currently the second seed entering the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. Robidoux has multiple wins in his Rookie season, and should seal the Rookie of the Year, one year after moving up from the Bandolero Outlaws. The Sport 4 class sees Mikey LeFort III up by 24 points on Kaine Duby. Lefort has been around the top-10 consistently during the second half of the season, but Duby will look to close in the gap before it is all set and done. The Seekonk Speedway Sunoco Drive For The Cup begins this weekend, September 6-7. On Fast Friday, racing includes the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Helger’s Pure Stocks, Sport 4s and the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws. Action on Friday begins at 7 p.m. On NASCAR Saturday, it’s First Responders Night at the track as the Pro Stocks, Late Models, Helger’s Sportsman and Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Trucks battle it out. Action on Saturday night begins at 6 p.m. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.

SEEKONK, Mass. — With the regular season now in the rear-view mirror, the fields have been set on Fast Friday for the Sunoco Drive For The Cup in 2024. Six drivers in each division will compete for the crown - with four advancing into the Final Four after the first three weeks to contend for the title on championship night, September 27. In each division, the points leader at the end of the regular season earned three bonus points. They will enter as the leader of the pack with those 3 points, while the other five drivers will reset to zero points. Playoff drivers earn points based on their finish in the first three playoff events. The highest finishing playoff driver will earn 6 points in each feature, while the second highest earns 5, etc., down to 1. At the end of the first three weeks, the four drivers with the highest totals will advance into the Final Four. On championship night, the highest finishing of the four drivers in that specific event earns the championship. The Seekonk Speedway points grid will continue to also run normally though the rest of the season. The champion will finish first in the final points, but second place in the standings will be the driver who earned the most points over the whole season, if that driver is not the champion. Let’s break down the six drivers in each Fast Friday division contending for the title. —————-- The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars field:
These six drivers will battle it out for Fast Friday’s top prize - the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars title. The story here most of the year has been Burns, Parsons and Helger, and it shows in the standings. All of them have multiple feature wins to their credit. Burns picked up a win and the Everett’s Triple Crown in August, while Parsons may have started off slower than he wanted, but he rocketed to multiple wins during the summer and was a master of consistency. Helger, who won early in the season, continues to show growth in speed and consistency. He followed it up with a second win on the final night of the regular season - preparing him for the title run. Silvia, Tessier and LaBelle have also shown their speed during the season. Silvia picked up his first career win during the summer, showcasing his name to advance into the playoffs, now with a shot at the title in his second full-time season. Tessier hasn’t won in ’24, but the former Everett’s Triple Crown champion does know how to win, and will be a threat. LaBelle is another driver who always seems to be inside the top-five when it comes down to the end of the race. The speed in the No. 4 is unquestionably enough to give him a shot. Who wins the 2024 Legends Cars title? Is it Burns going back-to-back? Parsons finally grabbing his first? Helger winning his second Seekonk title, adding to his former Bandolero championship? Silvia bursting on and winning it? Tessier making a strong statement? LaBelle winning as the last seed in? We will all find out together. All Legends Cars races inside the playoffs will be 25-laps except championship night, which will be 30 laps. —————-- The Helger’s Pure Stock field:
The Helger’s Pure Stock field is one of the most competitive in recent memory, as they get set to chase the championship. The field is filled with veterans, a Rookie contender, and one just continuing to learn with every lap, chasing their first career win. Mike Henriques earned the three bonus points as the leader at the end of the regular season, winning that by 10 points over Brent Robidoux. Henriques is the most veteran of the group, other than Danny Massa. His experience in the Fast Friday Pure Stock division will certainly give him an edge when it comes to competing for the crown. With victory this season and tons of consistent top-five runs, look out for Henriques to finally seal the deal as a Seekonk Speedway champion. Robidoux has been the surprise of the year, as a Rookie in this division. With multiple feature wins, he is well on his way to winning the Rookie of the Year award. However, why stop there? Robidoux has shown the speed to contend, driving through the field weekly. Look out for the Rookie to make a strong push towards the title. Ethan Souza may be one of the quietest drivers in the group, but has the raw speed and driving ability to make himself a major threat. Souza has been to Victory Lane this year and is another driver who always seems to find his way to the front when the race is winding down. He’s joined by defending champion Jared Cordeira, who enters as the fourth seed. Cordeira quietly advanced last year as a lower seed and ended up capturing the title, showing incredible speed in the final four weeks. He’s definitely had similar speed this year - so will he make it back-to-back in the Pure Stocks? The final two drivers are two complete opposites when it comes to their veteran experience. Danny Massa, this year’s Everett’s Triple Crown champion, has been racing in the division for many years, with many wins and top-five finishes. Bobby Bettencourt III is the opposite - just in his second year, he will look to score his first career win during the playoffs - but what about contending for the title? He made it into the playoffs and he has a chance to really put a run together to surprise some people and capture a crown. All Pure Stock races inside the playoffs will be 25 laps except championship night, which will be 30 laps. —————-- The Sport 4 field:
The Sport 4 Sunoco Drive For The Cup field includes a mix of different drivers, some with more experience than others, but all with speed during the 2024 regular season. Matt Pion captured fire right from the start this year, winning, and finishing in the top-five in almost all of the events run. Pion may have come up short of the Everett’s Triple Crown title he wanted, but he now turns his attention to the playoffs, looking to add his name to the list of champions at the Action Track of the East - and he has three bonus points on his side to get started. Richie Johnson hasn’t been to Victory Lane in ’24, but has been quietly consistent. The driver of the No. 8 would certainly love to put himself in position to get into the Final Four and have a shot on the final night. Unlike Johnson, Tyler Duhancik has won twice this season. The driver of the No. 48 has shown some great speed all year, looking unbeatable a few times. Duhancik will be a threat down to the final laps to try and earn his first track title in the No. 48. Justin Leduc is another one that put together a consistent season. With wins to his credit and also the Everett’s Triple Crown title, Leduc enters the playoffs with nothing to lose. He wants the title. Crystal Murray may enter as the five seed, but she’s won the last two championships in this format - showing she can bring her best when it counts. She may have had a regular season unlike the last two years, but you can’t count out the first two-time female champion in the history of Seekonk Speedway, who is looking to make it three in a row. The final seed entering the playoffs is Taylor Bowser. Taylor has shown her own flashes of speed this season, and one of her goals entering the year was to grab her first career win. As the playoffs are set to begin, she has four more weeks to get it. And with four weeks with nothing to lose, she will look to drive into a championship run. All Sport 4 races inside the playoffs will be 25-laps except championship night, which will be 30 laps. —————-- The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit field:
The story of the season in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit field has been consistency. As the six drivers who are advancing to contend in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup get ready to roll, who will it be hoisting the trophy? All six drivers have finished on the podium at some point this season, some more often than others. Bernier, Dib and Silva have all of the victories spread between the three of them, and those three have been on the podium the most. As you look at the field, it’s hard to say the champion will not be one of these three in 2024. All three have the speed to do it. Which one is the favorite? Hard to say. Bernier has the three bonus points on his side as the regular season points leader, but the other two have momentum as well. The other three contenders certainly enter as darkhorses, but they have all shown the speed to be on the podium this year at different times. Martin, who also made her Legends Cars debut recently, would love nothing more than to compete for a track title on the final night. Jase Chaber has watched his brother Nick win races over the years, and a victory in the playoffs could be exactly what he needs to spark a run. How about Carl Satterlund Jr? After picking up his first podium in the final race of the regular season, he’s storming into the playoffs with momentum on his side. Seekonk’s youngest division will surely put on a show for four weeks, with 15 laps each time to help decide the champion. —————-- The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw field:
The six drivers entering the Sunoco Drive For The Cup in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws are all deserving of a shot at the title. Five of them have been to Victory Lane this season, showing the speed they need to make a run for it down the stretch. But, some of them have more wins than others. Robidoux has been the dominant car the last month. With three bonus points on his side now as the leader at the end of the regular season, he’s bound for a run into the Final Four. Once he gets there, he’s shown the car has enough speed to drive off into the sunset. His brother, Brent, is also contending for a Fast Friday title in the Pure Stocks. They both won on the same night twice already this year. Wouldn’t it be something to have two brother champions in the same year? Parker Davis has been to Victory Lane himself and has been truly consistent. With speed and a championship in this format in the Bandit division to his credit, look out for Davis to pounce on opportunity ahead of him. Uhrig, who made the Final Four last year in the Bandit division, has moved to the Outlaws, won, and showed speed and talent the entire season. Brody Wakefield has looked unbeatable at times. Although he may have cooled off some during the month of August, Wakefield comfortably advanced into the playoffs and now will turn his attention towards four solid weeks to have a shot to call himself a champion. He’s joined by Ryder Aguiar and Mike Hanafin, seeds five and six entering the playoffs. Hanafin has won, Aguiar has not. But both of these drivers found themselves needing strong runs on the final night to advance into the playoffs, and they made it happen. Now, can they make a run at the title? —————-- The Sunoco Drive For The Cup for all nine Seekonk divisions includes four weekends of racing from September 6 through D. Anthony Venditti championship weekend, September 27-28. For tickets to all events and more information, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates. SEEKONK, Mass. — There was little doubt that Jacob “Rowdy” Burns was going to be a contender for the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown title on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Burns, driving for Nick Lascuola Racing, drove his way to the lead in the 30-lap Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars feature and never looked back. Burns dominated the second half of the race to roll to another win and the Triple Crown title. Josh Parsons, his teammate, followed him second across the line. Richie Helger Jr and Chase Silvia followed in third and fourth, followed by Mason Tessier in fifth. The contenders for the Triple Crown finished the race 1-2-3-4 in the 30-lap feature. Kevin Nowak, Dylan Calabro, Ryan Vanasse Jr., Rodney Dowless and Corey Martin rounded out the top-10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 25-lap feature. Robidoux crossed the line first in the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, not only capturing the win in the race, but also the Triple Crown title. Robidoux now has the Triple Crown in his resume and will turn his attention to competing for the division championship throughout the final five weeks. Brody Wakefield and Parker Davis battled to the finish, with Wakefield edging out for the win over Davis. Nick Uhrig Jr. finished in the fourth spot, with Allyha DeSomma rounding out the top-five. Mike Hanafin, Zacarias Kelley, Abbie Badejo, Ryder Aguiar and Vincent Sarro rounded out the top-10. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 15-lap feature. SEEKONK, Mass. — Two drivers, not one, were celebrating after the Sport 4 race on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Former division champion Dave Westgate finished first in the 30-lap Everett’s Triple Crown Series finale, returning to the top spot in the division for the first time in many years. While Westgate had the checkered flag, Justin Leduc finished in the second spot after 30 laps, but was also celebrating. Leduc captured the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series title in the Sport 4's. The driver of the No. 02 outlasted three other contenders to capture the trophy in the special three-race series. In the race on Friday night, Crystal Murray rounded out the podium in third, with Richie Johnson and Matt Pion finishing out the top-five. Tyler Duhancik, Henry Lavallee, Sam Mattera, Mikey LeFort III and Daniel Hayes finished the top-10. The Sport 4’s will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 25-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates. SEEKONK, Mass. — David Bernier worked his way to the front slowly, but methodically, on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Bernier added another victory to his 2024 season in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits, but this win was a big one. Bernier clinched the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series championship with his victory. The three-race series was a successful one for the driver of the No. 30, who now turns his attention to the final five weeks and the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. Also racing for the Everett’s Triple Crown were the next three finishers in the results: Luka Dib, Mason Silva and Jase Chaber. These three drivers continue to impress in the Bandits. Finishing in fifth was Carl Satterlund Jr., another top-five run, while Ayla Martin brought home the No. 91 in the sixth spot. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 15-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates. SEEKONK, Mass. — With just six weeks of racing left in the 2024 season, Seekonk Speedway will be back on the track this week on both Friday and Saturday night. On Friday, the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series is set for all five divisions after raining out last week. On NASCAR Saturday, the Spectator Drags join the card along with the Pro Stocks, Late Models, Helger’s Sportsman and Chaz’s Sport Trucks. Action on Friday begins at 7 p.m., while Saturday goes green at 6 p.m. Seekonk’s Pro Stock division saw Dylan Estrella fend off Vinnie Arrenegado last week. Vinnie captured yet another second-place finish, and now, can Arrenegado finally break through? If not, who will? Bobby Pelland III, the points leader, will be tough in Saturday’s 40-lap feature. Fans should also look out for Mark Jenison, Colbey Fournier and Mike Brightman, who will all be looking to visit Victory Lane, among others. The Late Model class has a close battle around the Sunoco Drive For the Cup cutline, with Connor Souza up by just 11 points for the final spot over former champion Mark Jenison. The story of the last two weeks has been Charlie Rose, who sliced through the field to win both events. The competition will be tight with those three drivers in this week’s 30-lap feature, along with Jacob Burns, Luke Lebrun, Chase Belcher, Richie Murray, Andrew Gomes and others. The Helger’s Sportsman field chased Adam Petty last week, as he captured the win and the Triple Crown title in their 35-lap feature. The story of the season has been the consistency of Colby Lambert, but he hasn’t won yet. Can this week be the night in the 25-lap main event? Those two will have to fight off names like Josh Hedges, Tyler Almeida, Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia, Scott Serydynski Jr., Gerry DeGasparre Jr and others. Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Truck drivers have chased Mike Duarte all year in the points, but he also hasn’t won a race. Rick Martin has been the most consistent driver other than Duarte, positioning himself second in the current standings. Tim Bolger Jr. is coming off another win last week, while Jake Vanada and Amy Arsenault aren’t far behind them. Can Mike Cavallaro use a podium last week the momentum from it rocket to Victory Lane this week? On Fast Friday, the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars Triple Crown field is set with two winners and two points contenders. Josh Parsons and Chase Silvia won the two Triple Crown events so far to advance to the Finals, while Jacob Burns and Richie Helger Jr. also earned spots. This pins two drivers from Nick Lascuola Racing (Parsons, Burns) up against two from Richie Helger Racing (Helger, Silvia). All four of these drivers have been quick all season and all use the Triple Crown as one of their goals entering the season. Who captures the crown in the 30-lap feature? Can someone like Stephen Bowden or Ryan Vanasse Jr. earn their first career win in Friday’s extra-distance race? LEGENDS CARS FINALISTS: Josh Parsons, Chase Silvia, Jacob Burns, Richie Helger Jr. Pure Stock competition will be exciting in the Triple Crown finale, set for 30 laps. Contending for the Everett’s title will be Jared Cordeira, Ethan Souza, Danny Massa and Mike Henriques. Souza and Massa advanced to the finals with wins in the first two Triple Crown events of the season, while Cordeira and Henriques earned their spots on points - two of the most consistent drivers all year. All four contenders have been quick this season. Of a possible 100 points between the first two races, all four drivers earned at least 90. This one should go right down to the final laps. Will it take a victory in the race to score the Triple Crown title? PURE STOCK FINALISTS: Jared Cordeira, Ethan Souza, Mike Henriques, Danny Massa The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit Everett’s Triple Crown Final Four includes Luka Dib, David Bernier, Mason Silva and Jase Chaber. Dib and Bernier have both won Triple Crown events already this season to advance to the Finals. In total, these four drivers have been inside the top-five in general in nearly all Bandolero Bandit events in 2024. They have all earned their spots in the Finals. Which one of the four carries the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series title after 15 laps? BANDOLERO BANDIT FINALISTS: Luka Dib, David Bernier, Mason Silva, Jase Chaber Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw Triple Crown finalists include Bryson Robidoux, Parker Davis, Ryder Aguiar and Brody Wakefield. It was Robidoux and Wakefield who won both of the first two events to lock themselves in, while Davis and Aguiar earned their spots on points. It’s been Robidoux and Wakefield who have been consistently inside the podium this season, as the summer stretch is rolling on. Davis and Aguiar may have been quiet at times, but they made the finals and will look to pounce. Davis is also the most recent division winner. Who captures the Everett’s crown in their 15-lap feature? BANDOLERO OUTLAW FINALISTS: Brody Wakefield, Bryson Robidoux, Parker Davis, Ryder Aguiar The Everett’s Triple Crown Final Four in the Sport 4 division includes winners Justin Leduc and Matt Pion along with Tyler Duhancik and Richie Johnson. All four of these contenders have been strong this season. Pion and Leduc have the most wins in the division, while Duhancik captured two, including last Friday. Johnson may not have won yet, but the finale of the Triple Crown would be the perfect time to pounce. Which one of the four hoists the Everett’s Triple Crown title after 30 laps, and will someone else win the race? SPORT 4 FINALISTS: Matt Pion, Justin Leduc, Richie Johnson, Tyler Duhancik Action on Friday begins at 7 p.m., while Saturday goes green at 6 p.m. For more information and tickets to events at Seekonk Speedway, fans can visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and also follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates. SEEKONK, Mass. — Just three Fast Friday events remain before the field is set for the Sunoco Drive For The Cup at Seekonk Speedway. All five Fast Friday divisions will compete in three feature events before the field of six is set in each division. Fast Friday battles before the cutoff: August 9, 16 and 23. Remember - the top-six drivers in each division at the end of the August 23 Fast Friday event will advance to the playoffs. Also, don’t forget, the driver who leads the standings at the end of the regular season earns three bonus points towards the playoffs and will automatically lead everyone by three. In the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Jacob Burns holds a 10-point lead over Josh Parsons, with Richie Helger Jr just 18 points back. The top three are close in contention for those bonus points. In fourth, Brenden LaBelle has 320 points, while Chase Silvia is next with 318 and Mason Tessier rounds out the top-six with 314. Tessier leads Rodney Dowless Jr. by 34 points with three weeks to go.
The Helger’s Pure Stock field is also tight. Mike Henriques leads Brent Robidoux by just 14 points for the overall lead and the bonus points, while Ethan Souza and Jared Cordeira ride comfortably in third and fourth. All four of these drivers should advance, barring disaster. In fifth, former champion Greg Perry has 306. He’s followed by Bobby Bettencourt III, who currently holds the final spot by six points over Danny Massa. Most recent winner Tim Ouellette is just 20 points back, with Matt Talbot 28 points.
In the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits, the field is going to be set. David Bernier leads Mason Silva by just two points for the lead and the bonus points. Luka Dib is only 10 behind the lead. Then, Ayla Martin, Jase Chaber and Carl Satterlund Jr. are the next in line, rounding out the top-six. These will be the six contending for the title. But, the question is: who will get the bonus points? The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws is the closest of all nine Seekonk divisions. Bryson Robidoux leads Parker Davis by eight points at the top, with Nick Uhrig just 14 back and Brody Wakefield in fourth, just 26 points behind. From there, Ryder Aguiar is fifth, 24 points ahead of the cutline. It seems that based on previous results, these five should feel comfortable to advance, as long as they have three solid weeks. For sixth, it’s a tie. Mike Hanafin and Allyha DeSomma are tied for the final playoff spot with 302 points, with Hanafin getting the nod right now, because he has a feature win. Behind them, the battle continues….
The Sport 4 division is also rather tight heading for the stretch. In the race for the bonus points, Matt Pion leads the division by just 12 over Tyler Duhancik and Richie Johnson, who are tied for second spot. Taylor Bowser is comfortably in fourth, with Justin Leduc and two-time and defending champion Crystal Murray fifth and sixth. Murray leads by 22 points over Henry Lavallee, with Daniel Hayes 28 points out and Jacob Budzyna 30 back. You never know what will happen in the final few weeks.
SEEKONK, Mass. — This weekend at Seekonk Speedway will be a major one for race fans to follow - a can’t miss two days at the third-mile! The Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series will conclude in all nine Seekonk divisions, meaning there is plenty of excitement to watch at the Action Track of the East. Both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday divisions will race in the prestigious Triple Crown finale events - with extra laps in all divisions except the Bandolero’s. Racing on Fast Friday begins at 7 p.m., while NASCAR Saturday goes green at 6 p.m. The winner of the Triple Crown championship for 2024 in each division will be the highest finishing driver of the four eligible in that specific feature event. On top of Triple Crown action, drivers not in the Triple Crown finale will be racing for the checkered flag and the race trophy. In the Pro Stocks, defending Triple Crown champion Bobby Pelland III advanced into the finals, winning the June 15 Triple Crown race. The other three spots were filled by points accumulated in the two Triple Crown races so far. Vinnie Arrenegado, a Rookie of the Year contender, will join Pelland. They will both have to contend with two-time and defending division champion Mark Jenison and Dylan Estrella. Three of these drivers have Pro Stock feature wins to their credit: Pelland, Jenison and Estrella. Will Arrenegado use the Triple Crown 60-lap finale to score his first win? Can Pelland make it two straight Triple Crown titles? Will one of the other two rocket to victory? Will it take winning the race to win the Triple Crown? Will someone else not in the Tripe Crown steal the race win itself, like David Darling, Dick Benoit or Mike Brightman? The Pro Stock feature is set for 60 laps this week. PRO STOCK FINALISTS: Bobby Pelland III, Vinnie Arrenegado, Dylan Estrella, Mark Jenison The Late Model Triple Crown finale is made up of two Triple Crown winners and two points contenders. Jacob Burns won the first Triple Crown race on June 1, while Pelland won the second on June 15. Pelland will contend for both the Pro Stock and Late Model Triple Crown title in the same night. These two will be joined by Luke Lebrun and Connor Souza to contend for the crown. David Darling accumulated enough points to advance to the Finals, but it is not eligible. Seekonk Speedway requires competitors to compete in three regular season races plus the Triple Crown events to be eligible to make the Finals. The Late Model battle between Burns, Pelland, Lebrun and Souza will go right down to the final laps of the 45-lap event. Names like Jenison, Richie Murray and most recent winner Charlie Rose will also look to score the feature win, along with others. LATE MODEL FINALISTS: Jacob Burns, Bobby Pelland III, Luke Lebrun, Connor Souza Helger’s Sportsman drivers in the Everett’s Triple Crown Finals include Adam Pettey, Colby Lambert, Joe Kohler and Jeremy Lambert. Pettey won both of the first two Triple Crown events, while C. Lambert, Kohler and J. Lambert all entered the Finals with points. The Lambert family will be well-represented, with a 50% chance of capturing the crown. They are joined by Pettey, who has been quite dominant at times so far this season, showcasing that in the first two Triple Crown events. Kohler, driving for McKenzie Stevenson, has been consistently charging through the field when he has been in competition. The 35-lap Triple Crown Finale for the Sportsman is sure to be exciting. SPORTSMAN FINALISTS: Adam Pettey, Colby Lambert, Joe Kohler, Jeremy Lambert Rick Martin, Tim Bolger Jr., Mike Duarte and Amy Arsenault make up the Everett’s Triple Crown Final Four in the Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Trucks. Martin and Bolger advanced with feature wins in Triple Crown action, while Duarte and Arsenault advanced by points. Duarte has been consistent all year, leading the overall division point standings to this point, but hasn’t yet won. Martin, the two-time and defending division champion, will look to add the Everett’s Triple Crown to his historic track resume. Bolger has been consistent as well, with two wins, while Arsenault will look to use the 35-lap finale to pounce. Who will capture the Everett’s Triple Crown in the Trucks? SPORT TRUCK FINALISTS: Rick Martin, Tim Bolger Jr., Mike Duarte, Amy Arsenault On Fast Friday, the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars field is set with two winners and two points contenders. All four of these drivers have been quick all season and all use the Triple Crown as one of their goals entering the season. Who captures the crown in the 30-lap feature? SEEKONK, Mass. — Tim Ouellette was back on top on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. The former Seekonk Youth Racing Association graduate added another Helger’s Pure Stock victory to his resume, dominating the 25-lap feature. It was clear early in the race that Ouellette was going to be a threat to win. But after a few restarts and challenges from behind, Ouellette put the nail in the coffin and held the checkered flag. Mike Henriques and Brent Robidoux continued impressive seasons with strong podium runs themselves. Henriques finished second, with Robidoux in third. The week before, Danny Massa picked up his first win of the season, and he was back up front this week, finishing fourth. Ethan Souza rounded out the top-five. Bobby Bettencourt III, Greg Perry, Peter Bleau, Jared Cordeira and Gary Conrad finished the top-10. The Helger’s Pure Stocks will be back on the track for another 30-lap feature in the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series on Friday, August 9.
