Anthony Venditti, “The Godfather of New England Auto Racing,” began construction of Seekonk Speedway in 1945. On May 30, 1946, the gates were opened for the first time. D. Anthony owned, operated, and promoted the Speedway until his death in 1991. Anthony received the promoter of the year award in 1978. His wife Irene continued till her passing in 2014, her son Francis, and grandson David continue the tradition of operating the speedway. Know as the “Action track of the East” Seekonk Speedway has been family owned, operated, and promoted for 80 consecutive years. |
Seekonk Speedway is a one-third mile, family friendly racetrack located in Seekonk, Massachusetts, holding weekly stock car racing on Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer months.
The Fast Friday Series is known for the thrilling racing that the upcoming talent of the track provides. Drivers from the ages of 8 and up race side-by-side each Friday night beginning in June and lasting through September. The family environment that Friday night’s offer only costs $10 to check out.
Saturday nights, the NASCAR Pro Stocks headline action with 40 lap feature races in a division that includes plenty of veterans. The NASCAR Late Models, Sports Trucks and Sportsman also join them each week, with the Sportsman class providing three-wide action for laps on end. Whether it’s drivers breaking into action in their first season, or veterans chasing yet another championship, the combination of both on the track together provides fans with plenty of excitement.
Five times a year, Seekonk Speedway holds Thrill Shows, packing the grandstands with fans and providing some of the top action that New England has to offer. Whether it’s enduro races or drivers bringing their streetcar onto the track for drag racing, the Thrill Shows offer plenty of thrills and spills.
No matter the night, the elation of winning an event at the third-mile oval is second to none. The history that surrounds the Speedway dates back to the late 1940s, with one family, the Venditti’s, in control ever since the beginning.

There is a no re-entry policy mandated per order of the Town of Seekonk so please bring everything you will need to enjoy the show.
Please dont bring these: For the ensured enjoyment of all our fans we respectfully ask you not to bring the following items to the track on racedays: Umbrellas, Folding or temporary Chairs, glass bottles or any alcoholic beverages of any kind. “Six Pack” sized coolers are allowed that fit under bleacher seats. Oversized coolers will not be allowed.
Smoking is not allowed in the seating areas of the stadium. Smoking is permitted on all the walkway and concourse and standing areas past the yellow handicap seating lines. Please abide by these guidelines as offenders may be asked to leave the premises if found in violation of the guidelines.
Stadium Seat Backs (no larger than 18″ wide – 12″ deep – 16″ high) are allowed with the exception of all Special Shows, Thrill Shows & Monster Truck Shows. No personal Stadium Seat Backs are permitted for these special events, Stadium Seat Backs are available for rent inside the gates.
Pet Policy
Seekonk Speedway does not allow pets at the speedway. We do allow trained service animals.
Service Dog Definition and Policy
Seekonk Speedway only allows service animals on property in compliance with the American Disabilities Act of 1990.
It is our responsibility as an entertainment venue to ensure the safety of all patrons at the Speedway.
Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability.
Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Service animals should be clearly identified as such by wearing a harness and being leashed at all times unless it interferes with their service job.. Service dogs are not carried or pushed on a cart or stroller. Service dogs do not pull on their leash, bark or whine or seek attention. Service dogs are not aggressive.
Food and Beverage:
For your convenience we sell concessions of all kinds at several locations throughout the facility as well as draft beer and other alcoholic beverages at designated areas. We also have seat backs available for rent for your comfort.

Rain Policy: A race night will be deemed complete when 50% of its events ( heats and features) are completed. At this point no rain checks will be issued.
There is no horseplay permitted on track property during Seekonk Speedway events. This includes running, ball playing and other games that may cause harm or injury to participants or other spectators at the Speedway.

Due to the volume of unlawful video, photo and trademark reproductions taking place with respect to participants, events and trade names recently, it has become necessary for Seekonk Speedway to strictly enforce certain rules and guidelines with respect to the usage and sale and digital distribution of such media. While we certainly understand that this can be upsetting to the casual weekend photographer, it is important to understand the legal ramifications that exist. Seekonk Speedway does not intend to prohibit the use of still point and shoot cameras at the race track; however, the sale of such photos is strictly prohibited without prior written approval of Seekonk Speedway or any other sanctioning body depending upon the event.
All persons agree that all commercial rights to any and all photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, sound recordings, etc. made of any event at the Seekonk Speedway are owned solely by Seekonk Speedway, regardless of what party created such properties. Any sale of such images or recordings, on or off the Seekonk Speedway premises, is strictly prohibited except by the Seekonk Speedway, or its officially approved agents. Any such images or recordings created by non-approved agents will be solely for their individual and non- commercial use.
B R O A D C A S T & O T H E R R I G H T S :
Seekonk Speedway and Bristol County Stadium exclusively and in perpetuity own any and all rights to broadcast, transmit, film, tape, capture, overhear, photograph, collect or record by any means, process, medium or device (including but not limited to television, cable television, radio, pay-per-view, closed circuit television, satellite signal, digital signal, film productions, audiotape productions, transmissions over the Internet, public and private online services authorized by Seekonk Speedway and Bristol County Stadium, sales and other commercial projects, and the like), whether or not currently in existence, all images, sounds and data (including but not limited to in-car audio, in-car video, in-car radio, other electronic transmissions between cars and crews, and timing and scoring information) arising from or during any Seekonk Speedway event and that Seekonk Speedway is and shall be the sole owner of any and all intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, patents, copyrights, trademarks, design rights, and other proprietary rights) worldwide in and to these works and in and to any other works, copyrightable or otherwise created from the images, sounds and data arising from, during or in connection with any Seekonk Speedway Event. In addition to the extent not already owned by Seekonk Speedway, Each person hereby assign to Seekonk Speedway exclusively and in perpetuity any and all rights set forth above.
By entering this venue you release all rights to have your image still/video or audio used by the owner, promoters, their agents or media outlet which may become part of a television broadcast or video program or commercial product now or in the future and you release all involved from any liability.

FROM PROVIDENCE
Take Route 95 North or South to Route 195 East. Take Mass Exit 1 off 195. Take a RIGHT off the exit and go to the second traffic light. Take a LEFT onto Route 6 East. Follow about 2 – 2 1/2 miles and Seekonk Speedway will be on your LEFT.
Pit Access Policy
The pit area is a restricted area for participants, crews and team members. All persons in pit must be 18 years of age or older or have proper signed and notarized minor waivers for competitors ages 15-18. No one under 15 is admitted except for members of our INEX junior program,.
INEX Junior Pit Access
The following restrictions must be adhered to by all families with juniors (15 years and younger) in the pits on Fast Friday race events at Seekonk Speedway. These guidelines are in place for the safety of the union participants and their families.
All Juniors must have a minor release signed by both parents and witnessed by a notary public. The release must be accompanied by a copy of the juniors birth certificate. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
INEX Legends and Bandoleros pit in the front pit only. Juniors must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian at all times while in the pit restricted area. Juniors are allowed in INEX (front) pits only and should only be traveling from haulers to spectator areas. All travel inside of pits will be accompanied by adult.
There shall be no activities other than racing activities in pit areas (ball playing, running, playing etc).
Non Competitor Juniors under 15 receiving restricted pit access do not have access to any pit areas other than the INEX Front pits and the connection to the spectator areas.
Juinor Pit Access is subject to the General Managers approval.
Any violations of this policy or juniors may result in removal of pit privileges.
