By Souza Media SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second time in the early season, Brendan Hammann rocketed to victory lane in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars on Friday night. Hammann passed defending champion Luke Lebrun for the lead just past the halfway point and rolled to the win in the 30-lap round one of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series. After what could be deemed as a rough and tumble first two weeks of Legends Cars racing, week three was just the opposite. With only a few cautions early, the final half of the race went under the green flag, with Hammann driving away from a close battle between Lebrun and Devin Deshaies. While Lebrun may not have run the first two, with Deshaies taking over his championship ride, the battle between the two of them for second was phenomenal. At the finish, Hammann would celebrate in Victory Lane, with Deshaies finishing second and Lebrun third. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track on Friday, June 17 for another 25-lap feature.
