SEEKONK, Mass. — Mason Tessier may have struggled the first few weeks of the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars season, but he’s caught fire in the competitive division the last two weeks. Tessier took the lead when a few of the leaders tangled in the 25-lap feature on July 15 and took full advantage, driving off to Victory Lane for the second straight week. The win was Tessier’s third career in the Legends Cars, and he picked up the victory in the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series in the process. Behind him, Brendon Hammann rebounded from a mid-race spin to finish second, while Reese Bogue worked his way from the back to the front, finishing in third spot. Devin Deshaies and Jake Silvia finished the top-five. Dustin Gagne was sixth, while Jacob Burns, Nicholaus Bulkeley, Richie Helger Jr. and Isaiah Newcomb finished the top-10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars division will return to the track on Friday, July 22, for another 25-lap feature.
