Coming up over the next few weekends at Seekonk Speedway, the Massachusetts third-mile will crown the 2023 Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series champions. Normally on the same weekend for both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday, the final events for each division have been split on Saturday due to Mother Nature impacting racing earlier this season.
The Triple Crown finales for all nine of Seekonk’s divisions will take place between August 12 and August 19. On Saturday, August 12 the Pro Stocks and the Late Models will run their final events. On Friday, August 18, both Bandolero divisions, the Sport 4’s, Pure Stocks and Legends Cars will crown their champions. On Saturday, August 19, the Sportsman and Sport Trucks crown their champions.
The Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown “chase” style format pins four drivers against each other in the finale to decide who will be champion. The highest finishing of the four in the final feature will win the Everett’s Triple Crown.
“The Triple Crown Series tradition has been rolling at Seekonk Speedway for many years,” Ed St. Germain, Director of Business Development for Seekonk Speedway, said. “It gives our drivers and our fans a mid-season championship to look out for. Big thanks to Everett’s Auto Parts, Roy and their entire team for their continued support of this series.”
