SEEKONK, Mass. — For the third time this season, Crystal Murray captured the checkered flag in the Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 division on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Murray took the lead from DJ Thibeault early in the 25-lap feature and wasn’t going to be denied over the final stretch of the race. She pulled away from the field, and celebrated in Victory Lane again for the third time. Heading to the playoffs, Murray leads the championship standings and has momentum on her side. Tyler Duhancik finished close behind her in second spot, just one week after winning, while Jarrod Freitas resulted in the third spot. Sam Mattera charged to the top-five, while Stephanie Bruneau started on the pole and scored a top-five finish in fifth. Thibeault led laps early and finished sixth, followed by Jacob Budznya, Taylor Bowser, Andrew Rittman and Cascis Mitchell. The Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4’s will return to the track on Friday, August 27, for another 25-lap feature.
