SEEKONK, Mass. — The 2023 season has been a breakout year so far for Brenden LaBelle in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, and it’s just getting started. Even though LaBelle missed the race in week two, he’s been to Victory Lane in all three races he’s competed in so far. Friday night, he captured the victory in round one of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Legends Cars, a 30-lap feature. LaBelle used a late pass on Josh Parsons to take the top spot and never look back. Parsons wasn’t far behind as the field hit the final lap, with Chase Silvia, a former Bandolero winner, also contending for his first Legends Cars win. When they hit the line at the checkered flag, LaBelle was ahead of Parsons and Silvia to finish the top-three. However, the entire top-five results are still pending and unofficial due to inspection, as of the publication of this story. Unofficially, Riley Paul finished fourth and Mason Tessier fifth. Nicholaus Bulkeley, Jacob Burns, Isaiah Newcomb, Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia and Jake Silvia finished the top-10. The top-10 finishers were changed up post-race due to a few incidents on the final lap. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track after an off week from competition on Friday, July 7 for another 25-lap feature race.
