SOUZA ROCKETS TO FIRST PURE STOCK WIN OF THE YEAR

SEEKONK, Mass. — Ethan Souza may have struggled the first half of the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock season, but he wasn’t messing around on Friday night, July 15. Souza took the early lead from the outside pole position and held off all challengers behind him to score his first win of the 2022 season in the 25-lap feature.


Even though he took the win, the final few laps were a hard battle to overcome, with recent winners Mike Henriques and Danny Massa close behind coming to the line. Henriques would finish second, putting together two straight weeks of impressive runs, while Massa was sent to the rear early for contact, and worked his way back up through the field to finish in third.


Behind them, names like Ed Gould, Sam Lincoln, Greg Perry, Matthew Talbot, Jared Cordeira and others put together strong top-10 runs.
