Friday’s Bandolero Outlaws feature provided us the division’s first installment of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown and some great racing. When the green flag waved, Bradley Strickland wheeled his Bandolero Outlaw from fifth place and charged to the front on the inside, finding himself as the race leader by lap four. Andrew Gomes looked to keep pace on the outside early on. Strickland worked quickly to stretch a several-car-length lead over the rest of the field, but by lap 11, Chase Silvia caught and overtook Strickland for the lead, and raced to the finish, edging Strickland by 0.232 seconds at the line, making it back-to-back wins to start his season. Andrew Gomes’ early-race efforts paid off well, as he secured third place at the checkered flag. Joey LeMay and Adam Harrison battled throughout the 15 laps, which stayed green from wire to wire. LeMay came home fourth and Harrison fifth. Brent Robidoux finished sixth and Mikey Lefort III finished seventh with a slight 0.142 second gap separating the two at the line. Dylan Calabro finished eighth, followed by Bobby Bettencourt III and Abbie Badejo. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw division will return to the track on Friday, June 10 for another 15-lap feature.
