SEEKONK, Mass. – Seekonk Speedway will host the first of two awards banquets from 2023 racing on Saturday, November 18, where the Fast Friday champions and special award winners will be honored. Back at the White’s of Westport for another year, Seekonk Speedway is excited to honor top performers after another thrilling Fast Friday season went into the record books.
In the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits, Parker Davis will accept championship honors after a dominating playoffs en route to his first track title. In the Bandolero Outlaws, Collin Vanasse will collect his hardware after collecting his first track championship in the No. 78 by winning the final two races of the season. The Sport 4 championship will be handed out to Crystal Murray for the second straight year, as she became the first two-time female champion in the history of Seekonk Speedway. The Helger’s Pure Stock crown will be awarded to Jared Cordeira, after the driver of the No. 20 had a blazing hot playoffs to capture his first track title. In the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Jacob “Rowdy” Burns will collect the trophy after a dominating run in the final race of the year to seal the title in 2023. The banquet will also include the return of the Top 10 moments from the Fast Friday season – started two years ago, the new tradition looks back to some of the most influential moments of the 2023 season. Tickets for the banquet have 10 people per table and are $45 per ticket. The banquet, at White’s of Westport, will be a buffet style dinner prior to awards. The room will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by awards presentations. Ticket orders must be in by November 10.
