SEEKONK SPEEDWAY CANCELS NASCAR RACING FOR MAY 18

Seekonk Speedway officials have decided to cancel NASCAR racing on Saturday, May 18, due to inclement weather expected during the day. 

The Sport Truck Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown opener will now be run on June 8. The Pro Stock Everett’s Triple Crown opener has been moved to June 15. 

Military Night has also been moved to June 15. 

Tickets for the May 18 event will be honored June 15th

Seekonk Speedway’s Fast Friday will open on Friday, May 24. NASCAR divisions will be back on track on Saturday, June 1, except the Pro Stocks, who will be back on track on June 8. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be in town on June 1 for the Seekonk 150, along with the Late Models, Sportsman and Sport Trucks.
