SECOND TIME: MIKE HENRIQUES WINS ANOTHER IN THE PURE STOCKS

SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second time in 2022, Mike Henriques rolled into Victory Lane in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks on Friday night. Henriques used the outside lane to pass Ed Gould for the top spot in the second half of the race, then held off Sam Lincoln in the final circuits to take another win.



Henriques, who has a habit of winning for the first time in September each year, now has two wins before the month of August. Lincoln would finish second in the 25-lap race, while Gould was able to grab third — his best career run in the Pure Stocks. 


Nick Brightman followed up a victory the week before in fourth, followed by Mike Rotondo, who scored a top-five finish. Jared Cordeira finished sixth, followed by Greg Perry, Jordan Threlfall, Danny Massa and Matthew Talblot.


The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, August 5 for the final round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
