SEEKONK, Mass. — For the third time in three weeks, Scott Cestodio was the man holding the checkered flag in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Cestodio, returning to the division for the first time in many years, has been the dominant car. It didn’t look like Friday was going to be his night — but a late caution closed the field up and gave him a chance, and he took advantage. Cestodio passed Ethan Souza with just a few laps left for the lead and never looked back. Souza and Danny Massa battled hard for the final laps for the runner-up spot, with Souza edging out across the line at the finish. Sam Lincoln and Mike Henriques followed them and finished fourth and fifth. Jared Cordeira, Alice Benoit, Josh Badach, Don Courtemanche and Matt Talbot finished off the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, June 24 with another main event, set for 25 laps.
