SAM LINCOLN WINS HIS FIRST PURE STOCK RACE SEEKONK, Mass. — Earlier in the season in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks, Sam Lincoln captured the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series championship. On Friday night, Lincoln added his first career Pure Stock win to his resume, besting Danny Massa over the final laps of the 25-lap feature to take the win. Jared Cordeira originally crossed the line with the victory, but failed to make it through post-race inspection. Lincoln and Massa battled hard with him to the finish, but settled for second and third, which became first and second in the final results. Greg Perry and Mike Rotondo both survived some mid-race chaos to finish inside the top-five. Jeremy Lambert was sixth, followed by Josh Badach, Don Courtemanche, Alice Benoit and Matt Talbot. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, August 27, for another 25-lap feature.
