![]() SEEKONK, Mass. — Danny Massa wanted to win last week, badly. This week, he found redemption. The driver of the No. 41 in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks rocketed to the lead just before the halfway point in the 30-lap Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series race and held on to pick up the win. While doing it, Massa held three fingers out the window coming to the checkered flag, honoring the late Tom Scully Sr. while rolling into Victory Lane. Behind Massa -- the race was hot and heavy — with some intense side-by-side racing. Timmy Ouellette did everything he could, fighting with a loose car, to hang on for a strong podium run after a tough start to the season. Sam Lincoln joined him on the podium this week, after a little assistance from former Pure Stock champion Doug Benoit during the week. Two-time season winner Greg Perry, Nick Brightman, Billy Chouinard, Ethan Souza, Austin Flanagan, Matthew Talbot and others all ran around the top-10 at the finish, posting strong runs in the extra-distance event. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, July 8, for a 25-lap feature. The Fast Friday divisions will be off on July 1.
