SEEKONK, Mass. — Chad Baxter has the perfect combination right now in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman at Seekonk Speedway. The defending division champion rolled his way back to Victory Lane on Saturday night, taking with him the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series championship in the 35-lap feature. Baxter passed Craig Pianka for the lead just before halfway, but it wasn’t an easy task. The two traded a bit of paint, with Baxter coming out on top. Pianka finished second at the end of the race, another podium run for “Captain Fun”, while Adam Pettey returned to the podium in the third spot. Kyle Casper made an appearance in the Sportsman to finish fourth, while Scott Serydysnki Jr. followed to round out the top-five. Steve Axon was sixth, followed by Adam Giacomozzi, Cody Tripp, Colby Lambert and Donald Perry. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman will return to the track on Saturday, August 13, for another 25-lap feature on the same night of the Pit Party and Fans on Parade.
