SEEKONK, Mass. — For the first time in his Seekonk Speedway career, Rodney Dowless was celebrating in Victory Lane on Friday, July 22. Dowles took advantage of mid-race trouble for Darren Krantz Jr to take the lead, then held off some of the best in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits to take down the impressive victory. While Dowless won, the night marked a strong run for Collin Vanasse, who led laps, and scored a career best second-place finish after 15 laps. Sam Macedo rocketed to a third-place finish, returning to the podium, while Milania Shilosky and Nick Uhrig Jr. completed the top-five spots. Brody Wakefield was sixth, followed by Allyha DeSomma, Parker Davis, Darren Krantz Jr and Bryson Robidoux. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will return to the track on Friday, July 29, for another 15-lap feature.
