RADICAL RICK MARTIN WINS IN GREEN-TO-CHECKER SPORT TRUCK RACE

SEEKONK, Mass. — 102 Wins didn’t Stop Rick Martin, as on Saturday night, he made it 103 in the Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Truck Division, but it didn’t come easy. Early on in the 25-lap feature, it was Jake Vanada who found himself leading the field after making some impressive moves to the lead. It wasn’t long before Martin found himself behind Vanada, and not much sooner did it take for the 14 to be at the top of the scoreboard. Martin would go on to win in the Green-to-Checker Feature, with Mike Duarte and Brittany Campbell surrounding him on the podium following post-race inspection.


Darryl Church followed in fourth and Barry Shaw Jr in fifth. Amy Arsenault, Tom Scully III, Marissa Morgan, Ethan Heilborn and John Silva finished the top-10.


Mike Cavallaro, who wrecked in his heat race, came home 12th after Anastasia Lebrun lent her Truck to him to keep him in the points battle.
