SEEKONK, Mass. — Timmy Ouellette conquered all Friday night in the 25-lap Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock race at Seekonk Speedway. He started from the outside pole, passing Mike Henriques for the lead early, and held off a charge from three-time season winner Scott Cestodio to score the feature win. Ouellette worked the top to pass Henriques then slid to the bottom and began working on keeping control. Cestodio charged to second just around halfway and worked the back bumper for the final laps, but couldn’t make the move to the win. He would finish second, with Danny Massa returning to the podium in third. Ethan Souza and Sam Lincoln followed in fourth and fifth. Jared Cordeira, Henriques, Don Courtemanche, Matt Talbot and Harold Holsworth finished out the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, July 21, with another 30-lap race in round two of the Everett’s Triple Crown.
