Mike Henriques wasn’t going to let a few caution flags slow him down on Friday night. Henriques worked the early race laps to the lead and was the dominant force until his good friend Greg Perry chased him down in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks. Perry would edge out across the line with just four laps to go in the lead, and the caution came at the perfect time for the two-time division champion, giving him the lead on the restart, and the bottom groove to himself. However — Henriques — using the outside lane — got back around, and took down his first win of the season in the No. 03. Perry would finish second, while Danny Massa charged to the front and finished in third spot. Jordan Threllfall and Mike Rotondo followed, rounding out the top-five. Sam Lincoln finished sixth, with Jeremy Lambert, Nick Brightman, Ed Gould and Matt Talbot completing the top-10 after 25 laps. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, July 15 for another 25-lap feature.
