SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Henriques chased the back bumper of the leader for much of Friday’s 25-lap Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock feature, but pounced when it mattered most. In a race that went without a yellow flag, Henriques charged to the lead and held off all challengers to pick up his first win of the season in the No. 03. Behind him, it was Bobby Bettencourt III on the podium in second, with defending champion Jared Cordeira in third. Driving the familiar No. 21 Bettencourt family colors, the young rising star led much of the race and nearly captured his first career win. Greg Perry and Brent Robidoux followed the top-three, posting finishes of fourth and fifth. Josh O’Hara, Ethan Souza, Danny Massa, Matthew Talbot and Timmy Ouellette rounded out the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will be back on the track on Friday, June 14, for another 25-lap main event.
