SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Hanafin had been trying to win a race for many years at Seekonk Speedway. Friday night, in round two of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, he picked the perfect night to get the job done. Hanafin started from the pole and led all 15 laps to win the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit feature. He held off challenges from former season winners Sam Macedo, Parker Davis and Nick Uhrig Jr to get the job done. They tried every lane to get around, just couldn’t find a way. In the red, white and blue No. 76, Hanafin took down the win over Macedo and Davis at the finish. Uhrig was fourth, while Mason Silva finished the top-five. Jace Chaber, Ryder Aguiar, Carl Satterlund Jr, David Bernier and Ryan Helger finished the top-10. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will return to the track on Friday, July 14 for another 15-lap race.
