SEEKONK, Mass. — Matt Pion used the outside lane to take the lead, then hold off all challengers to score his first career Sport 4 win at Seekonk Speedway on Friday night. Pion worked his way through the field and once he got out front, had a strong car, rolling to the finish to capture his first career win. Taylor Bowser had quite the impressive start to her season, taking the No. 07 to the front and finishing in second after 25 laps. Two-time division champion Crystal Murray followed in third, grabbing a podium in week one. Richie Johnson and Justin Leduc followed in fourth and fifth. Mikey LeFort, Dave Westgate, Jacob Budzyna, Andrew Rittman and Christine Cavallaro finished from sixth through 10th.
