SEEKONK, Mass. — The first round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks was exactly what Rick Martin needed to shine on Saturday night. Martin chased his way through the field and ended up out front when it mattered most - capturing his second win of the season in the No. 14 Truck.
On a late restart, Martin drove away from his competition, adding yet another win to his resume in his 50th season of racing in front of a strong crowd on Saturday night. Former champion Mike Duarte raced through the field to come away with another podium finish, grabbing a third-place effort, with DJ Thibeault in third, his best career run. Tim Bolger Jr. followed up his victory the week prior by finishing fourth with Amy Arsenault behind him in fifth at the finish. Dane Saritelli, Ethan Heilborn, Tom Scully III, Danny Thibeault and Marissa Morgan finished the top-10. The Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks will be back on the track on Saturday, June 15, for 25 laps.
