SEEKONK, Mass. — Rick Martin used a late restart to rocket to his fifth Chaz Auto Body Sport Truck win of the season on Saturday night. Jake Vanada led the most laps in the 25-lap race, but when it came down to the final two, Martin was on top. Vanada restarted in the lead for a green-white-checkered and had to best Martin in order to win. When they crossed for the white flag, a caution dropped due to a spin by Tom Scully III, and it changed everything. Going back to the last completed lap, Martin had edged Vanada at the line. Martin restarted from pole and drove to the win, while Brittany Campbell used the inside lane to charge through and finish second. Barry Shaw Jr was third, followed by Mike Cavallaro and Ethan Heilborn. Vanada would settle for sixth after last lap contact with the driver who followed him across the line, Amy Arsenault. Tim Bolger, Kenneth Lavallee and Tom Scully III followed them to finish the top-10. The Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks will return to the track on Saturday, August 27 for the final round of the regular season for 25 laps.
