SEEKONK, Mass. — Luka Dib found himself in Victory Lane to open the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit season on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway.
Dib rocketed to the lead right away and never looked back, scoring the victory in the opening 15-lap race of the season driving his No. 13. While Dib won — it wasn’t by much — as David Bernier and Mason Silva followed him closely across the line at the finish. The podium group of Dib, Bernier and Silva showcases just some of the youth, rising stars the Seekonk Speedway offers on Fast Friday. The Bandolero Bandits are the youngest group of racers at the track. Jace Chaber finished a solid fourth-place in the first race of the year, with Carl Satterlund Jr. rounding out the top-five. Ayla Martin finished sixth, followed by Kennedy Burrows. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will be back on the track on Friday, May 31, for race two of the season.
