By Sam Tully The Bandolero Outlaws took to the third-mile oval Friday with two-time feature winner Chase Silvia looking to keep his winning streak alive. Silvia gridded up eighth to start the 15-lap feature, pole-sitter Nathan Rioux, Andrew Gomes, and Brent Robidoux battled it out early for the lead. Andrew Gomes emerged from the pack early on to lead 12 of the 15 laps, but it was a late race restart resulting in a Green/White/Checkered that flipped everything on its head. With two to go at the final restart, Chase Silvia put himself right where he needed to be on the inside of the second row to make a move for the lead. Though he crossed the line first as the checkered flag waved, an illegal move by Silvia to pass to the inside of the leader before the start finish line at the restart would cost him two spots and the win, resulting in Brent Robidoux earning his first feature win of the season, and Adam Harrison, who rolled off ninth to start the race, to finish in second. Chase Silvia would settle for third. Joey Lemay flirted with the lead for the duration of the feature, finishing in fourth, followed by Andrew Gomes who finished fifth, and Bradley Strickland sixth. The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw division will return to the track on Friday, June 17 for another 15-lap feature.
