SEEKONK, Mass. — Brenden LaBelle has two races in the books at Seekonk Speedway in 2023, and he’s been to Victory Lane in both of them. LaBelle used a late pass on Fast Friday to pick up the victory in the 25-lap Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars feature on Friday night. He worked from the middle of the pack up into the top-three for the first time on lap 20 of the 25-lap race. On a restart with just four laps to go, LaBelle used the bottom lane to slide under leader Mason Tessier and rolled to the win, running his fastest lap during the second-to-last circuit of the race. Jacob “Rowdy” Burns charged to second in the final laps with Josh Parsons finishing the podium in third. Tessier, who led the most laps, finished in fourth. Richie Helger Jr. followed in fifth. Brendon Hammann, Steve Bowden, Jimmy Silvia, Curtis Rolando and Chase Silvia finished off the top-10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track on Friday, June 24 with another main event — this one set for 30 laps in round one of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series.
