KYLE SOUZA STEPS UP TO RACE DIRECTOR FOR SPORT 4, PURE STOCKS ON FAST FRIDAY

SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway announced today that longtime official Kyle Souza will join the Race Director staff for 2024 on Fast Friday. 

Souza will assume the role of Race Director for the Sport 4 and Pure Stock divisions only. Current NASCAR Saturday and Bandolero Race Director Len Ellis will call the Bandolero Bandit, Outlaw and Legends Cars events on Friday nights. 

Souza has been an official at Seekonk Speedway since 2010, holding various different roles in the Speedway family. Souza has been the chief Flagman on Fast Friday for over five years. 

“Seekonk is my second home,” Souza said. “The time I’ve spent at the track in my life, dating back to when I was young, have given me some of my best memories. The opportunity to join the Race Director staff is something I don’t take lightly. I’m excited to get rolling with 2024. Our schedule is packed and I can’t wait to see the fans at the track.”

Souza also assists in the Public Relations promotion of Seekonk Speedway through his business, Souza Media LLC. His business serves clients who compete up and down the East Coast including select clients in NASCAR’s national series, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, weekly racers and more. 

Seekonk Speedway’s 2024 schedule is shaping up to be incredible for race fans and competitors. The season begins on May 5 with NASCAR opening day and the Fast Friday campaign opens on May 24. The final event of the season, newly added, is the return of the Tri-Track & ACT Tour staple Haunted Hundred on November 2. Tickets are on sale for all events today at SeekonkSpeedway.com.
