SEEKONK, Mass. — Isaiah Newcomb made it clear Friday night was going to be his night in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars at Seekonk Speedway. Newcomb jumped out front early in the rather clean Legends Cars race and never looked back, rolling to the feature win after 25 laps. While Newcomb drove away with the win, the race for second was tight at the end between Richie Helger Jr., Jacob Burns and Nicholaus Bulkeley. The drivers were dicing for the spot as the field took the white flag. When it came down to the finish, Helger grabbed the spot, his best career in a Legend Car at Seekonk, while Burns was third and Bulkeley followed in fourth. Branden LaBelle finished in fifth with Josh Parsons, Mason Tessier, Zack Martinez, Chase Silvia and Cole Robie finishing out the top-10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars division will be back on the track on Friday, July 28 for another 30-lap feature in the second round of their Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series.
