SEEKONK, Mass. — The second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series for the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks looked like it was going to be one heck of a fight to the finish. Mike Henriques jumped out front, and was shaping up for a great battle to the end with Scott Cestodio to see who was going to come out on top. The two went back and forth for a few laps, then Cestodio cut a tire, ending his chances. After the restart, Henriques drove away from the rest of the competition to roll to victory in the 30-lap feature. Henriques picked up his first win of the season over Nick Brightman in second and Sam Lincoln, who returned to the podium in third. Ed Gould and Timmy Ouellette, winner from a week prior, were fourth and fifth. Danny Massa, Ethan Souza, Greg Perry, Don Courtemanche and Josh O’Hara finished the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock division will be back on the track on Friday, July 28 for another 25-lap feature.
