Brendon Hammann went all the way to the rear, and ended at the front. The driver of the No. 7 in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars at Seekonk Speedway opened the 2022 season with a wreck in turn three on lap one, went to the rear, then drove back through the pack and ended up in Victory Lane after a wild 25-lap race. Hammann wasn’t going to be denied, and neither was Devin Deshaies, who also worked from the rear of the field back into the front, finishing second in his first ride in the No. 88 machine. Reese Bogue ran inside the top-five for most of the race, even leading laps, and finished third. Jacob “Rowdy” Burns took a night off from his NASCAR Saturday Late Model to break out the Legend Car and finish fourth, while Brandon Tiezzi finished the top-five. Isaiah Newcomb was sixth, followed by Josh Parsons, Jake Silvia, Ty LeClerc and Branden LaBelle. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars division will return to the track on Friday, June 3 for another 25-lap feature.
