SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second time this season, Jarrod Freitas was carrying the checkered flag in the Sport 4’s on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Freitas jumped out front passing Henry Lavallee for the lead on lap 13, then held off a late-dash from defending champion Crystal Murray, to score his second win of the season. After four different drivers won the first four races, Freitas became the first to win number two. Sam Mattera made a late charge to return to the podium, finishing second, while Lavallee settled for third. Winner from one week before, Tyler Duhancik, finished fourth and Murray, who was running second when the field took the white flag, got loose in turn one and crossed the line fifth. Richie Johnson, Christine Cavallaro, Daniel Hayes, Taylor Bowser and Jacob Budznya finished out the top-10. The Sport 4’s will return to the track on Friday, July 14 for another main event.
