SEEKONK, Mass. — The fourth race of the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock season finally marked a new winner on Friday night. Danny Massa, who dominated the early stages of last year, became the first driver not named Scott Cestodio to get to the top spot after 25 laps in 2023. Massa started from the pole position and led the entire distance to score the win, holding off Mike Henriques on multiple restarts to accomplish the goal.
Ethan Souza worked his way up from a 10th-place starting spot to finish third in the No. 30, another consistent run to open his season. Behind them, Sam Lincoln was fourth and Timmy Ouellette fifth. Don Courtemanche, Cestodio, Josh Badach, Gary Conrad and Greg Perry finished the top-10. Cestodio was charging to the front running for second with Henriques in the middle of the race but spun and had to come from the rear to finish in seventh. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track after an off week from competition on Friday, July 7 for another 25-lap feature race.
