DUARTE WINS TRUCK FINALE, MARTIN ADDS ANOTHER TITLE TO HIS LEGACY
SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Duarte may not have been in the Final Four in the Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks, but he made sure to end his season on top. Duarte dominated the season-finale 35-lap feature to roll to another victory in the No. 50 on Saturday night. Duarte dominated most of the race, driving away from the competition and holding them off on a late restart to lock up the win. Darryl Church finished in second in the feature, while Rick Martin rounded out the podium and rolled to another Seekonk Speedway championship. For the second straight year, Martin won races and captured the title in the No. 14. His legacy continues to grow, now with another title to go along with it. Mike Cavallaro finished fourth and Jake Vanada finished fifth. Vanada, who won multiple races himself this year, came home second in the title battle. Brittany Campbell and Amy Arsenault also advanced to the Final Four, finishing sixth and eighth in the feature, respectively. The season is now complete for the Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks. The 2024 schedule will be released in the winter months.
