By Souza Media SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Duarte had been finishing on the podium in the Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks, but just couldn’t close the deal in 2022 heading into Saturday night. Finally, he came out on top. The former Sport Truck champion rocketed to the front of the pack in the 25-lap feature, taking the lead on lap eight and driving to the victory over the final laps. While Duarte glided to victory, the race for second to the finish was close. Brittany Campbell ended up in the runner-up spot when it mattered most, capturing yet another podium during her impressive start to the season. Rick Martin followed up his 101st career Seekonk win with a third-place finish, while Amy Arsenault and Barry Shaw Jr. finished the top-five. Daryl Church was sixth, followed by Mike Cavallaro, Tom Scully III, Lenny Guy and Rick Albernaz. The Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks will return to the track on Saturday, June 10, for round two of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, set for 35-laps.
