By Souza Media SEEKONK, Mass. — Devin Deshaies literally slid to Victory Lane in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars. Deshaies, a former Seekonk Youth Racing Association champion, finished second in week one, and captured the checkered flag week two, winning the 25-lap feature on Friday, June 3. Deshaies, teaming with a new group in 2022, is showing plenty of speed in the opening weeks of the season. He passed Josh Parsons for the top spot just before halfway and was essentially unchallenged to the finish. Reese Bogue worked his way onto the podium, scoring a second-place finish, while Brendon Hammann followed up his opening night victory, finishing third. Branden LaBelle and Nicholaus Bulkeley rounded out the top-five. Richie Helger Jr finished sixth, followed by Jake Silvia, Brandon Tiezzi, Dustin Gagne and Ethan Avellar. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track for their third race of the season on Friday, June 10, set for 25 laps.
