After starting fifth, Crystal Murray wasn’t going to be denied in the Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 division on opening night at Seekonk Speedway. Murray rolled to second quickly, then chased the back bumper of the No. 48 of Tyler Duhancik into the final laps. On a restart inside the final 10 circuits, Murray used the outside lane to pass Duhancik for the lead, then Duhancik went spinning off turn four one lap later, and Murray was clear sailing from there. The driver of the green No. 38 rolled to Victory Lane to open the 2022 season, while Karlin Levesque chased her across the line, finishing second. Levesque ran inside the top-five for the duration of the race, and came home with a solid finish to open the year. Christian Herman finished third, followed by Henry Lavallee and Jarrod Freitas. Duhancik would come back from the rear to finish sixth, followed by Taylor Bowser, Daniel Hayes, Christine Cavallaro and Stephanie Bruneau. The Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 division will return to the track on Friday, June 3 for another 25-lap feature.
