SEEKONK, Mass. — Crystal Murray rocketed to Victory Lane for the fourth time on Friday night in the Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4’s, locking herself into the Final Four of the playoffs in the process. The driver of the No. 38 used a mid-race pass of Matt Pion to take the lead and never look back from there, rolling to the victory and giving herself a shot to score her first track championship next week. While Murray won, Jarrod Freitas finished in second, with Tyler Duhancik and Henry Lavallee following in third and fourth. At the finish, the top-four drivers in the race were the four who are advancing to the finals of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. Taylor Bowser scored a strong fifth-place finish, just missing the Final Four. DJ Thibeault was sixth, with Daniel Hayes, Christine Cavallaro, Jacob Budznya and Matt Pion rounding out the top-10. The final race of the season for the Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4’s will take place on Friday, September 23, where the 2022 champion will be crowned.
