SEEKONK, Mass. — Rhode Island Shriners night at Seekonk Speedway proved to be a good one for Jacob “Rowdy” Burns in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series Late Models. The driver of the No. 30 rocketed to the front of the 30-lap feature, passing for the lead and driving away from the competition to score another victory on his 2023 season. It was a celebration in Victory Lane for Burns, who wrapped his weekend with a Saturday win after a podium finish on Fast Friday in the Legends Cars. He was chased to the line by two other season winners - Vinnie Arrenegado and Luke LeBrun. With a last-lap pass, Richie Murray picked up the fourth spot at the finish with Connor Souza not far behind, finishing the top-five. Defending Late Model champion Mark Jenison finished sixth, followed by Bill Goodrow, Charlie Rose, Tyler Tomassi and Scott Serydynski Jr. The main event for the Late Models took justy under 10 minutes to complete The Late Models will be back on track on Saturday, July 29 for another 30-lap feature.
